We rode horses on Qian Ling Tomb near Xian. The people with the horses run a sort of racket where they get you up a bit of the mountain and then hard sell you on paying extra for the rest of the tour (or a ride down). We were having a good time so we went along for the ride and after all it was only $20 or so.
