The Origin of Species RSS Feed

I've been meaning to read The Origin of Species for quite a while. After all it's pretty bad when you're a biologist and you haven't read the book that provides the foundation of your own field. Unfortunately, I always seem to be busy and keep putting it off. Since I just got a fancy new (undeveloped) homepage, I thought it'd be good practice to see if I could make an RSS feed out of Darwin's book.

If you don't know about RSS, click here for a quick description..

So (if nothing goes wrong) here are two links for rss feeds of On the Origin of the Species. The fast link reads 10 paragraphs of text per day while the slow reads 5. At 680 paragraphs that's 68 days for the speedreaders and 136 for those on the more stately track. To conserve bandwidth, the RSS only contains the first paragraph. You can read the rest by going to the corresponding post.

Or just start reading at the start or a specific chapter or paragraph or read Darwin's log of his travels on the H.M.S. Beagle.

Please leave any comments or typos in the feed at this blog entry.
